Our first blog post

This is Nathan. This post is for my Citizenship in the Community merit badge. It is about Lehi City - its history and other cool stuff about it. It is a great place to live.

This is Thanksgiving Point, a fun and cool place to go in Lehi. It has gardens, a golf course, movie theater, dinosaur museum, farm, and a water tower. It's a great place to visit.

Above is a picture of Lehi Roller Mills in the 1950's. It opened over a hundred years ago. Below is a picture Lehi Roller Mills today. They have all kinds of brownie and cake mixes.

This is Wines Park, a neat little park near the Legacy Center. Lehi City has free concerts there in the summer.

This is the Lehi Police Department. There are about 38 police officers working there right now. They used to teach the N.O.V.A. program (Nurturing Opportunities Values Accountability), but they may not be able to anymore due to budget cuts.

This is the Lehi Fire Department, also a place near the Legacy Center.

This is a picture of some electrical equipment at the Lehi Power Plant.

This is the Lehi Library, one of the best places in Lehi for the average (and above and below average) bookworm.

This is the Lehi City Cemetery, as the sign says. (Is the sign welcoming us, or the cemetery?)

This is the Hutchings Museum, a fun place to learn about anything from soldiers who fought in WWII to the Indians to geology and archaeology.

Lehi has a great outdoor pool for summer fun.

This is the Lehi Railroad Depot Museum.

This is a company known as IM Flash Technologies. They make a lot of computer stuff. Lehi has a lot of job opportunities at companies like this.

Last but not least, there's the Lehi Legacy Center. Below there's a picture of the kiddie pool, complete with whirlpool, gigantic bucket, lazy river, and fake trees. In the background to the left is a stairway to the slide.

And here's the lap pool. It goes up to 6 feet deep and has a basketball hoop. No pics here, but there's also a restaurant, a gym and 3 basketball courts.

Whew! Blogging is a lot of work. I hope you enjoyed my photographic tour of Lehi City.
